"inspired", on suicides? Anything at all. Could be what you think of it, what you think of suicide victims, where you think suicide victims go to after they die, which suicide method rocks, how suicide works etc. Anything . Anything AT ALL. Absolutely , i mean absolutely, ingenious. The best volume so far. The brilliance of Neil Gaiman leaves me hating my commonplace creativity (if i can call it 'creativity' at all) and gently yet firmly reminds me that I have a long way before i should even consider storywriting. But it does not uninspire me : although I am aware that it would be a most dreary process when I look upon my own children and wonder why they didn't turn out even a tithe of his. If writers were only recognised as dreamers, fabricators, liars and ramblers, I wish to remain in the Dreaming forever. *** My most worthy purchase for the week (besides the routine Sandman volumes): A silver hardcover book of nice-smelling, clean, white empty pages.
