Oh No.
I've sold my soul.
I think i just concluded that I SOMEHOW, ACTUALLY, IN SOME WRONG and WEIRD WAY ....like.... (MILDLY,TEMPORARILY,UNCERTAINLY) being in army.
Egad.
Help.
But e key phrase is 'being in army'. I HATE army but 'being in army' is a different story.
I KNOW. *head lowers with all e accusatory, betrayed looks coming from all directions, trying to shy away fm e vulgarities spewed, e spit from my fellow tortured comrades who lost their freedom to the army*
But! ... *lowers head again* (mumbling to myself)... army does give me quite a bit of time to work on my interests.....(timid look)
Argh. I know i can never rationalise my cause.
I haven't sold out to e army! er.. i think.
I think i've said enough. (exits e stage with e crowd leering and taunting)

2) You've probably seen and liked Zheng Yi's well-mannered, disciplined yet super-cool daughter (zheng yi adopted her when he was 19 OR she's actually one of e triplets that Jianrong's wife gave birth to)
3) You know Zheng Yi's roommate Lauren.
4) You've heard abt and eventually bought albums by a local group comprising of Paul, Lauren and Zheng Yi. And u loved it. ( They play at Zheng Yi's cafe too at night )

6) You've got this gorgeous pencil sketched artwork done by Zheng Yi, that's hanging in ur bedroom wall. You love it. U managed to bag it away from another 100 bidders at an auction for $2.7 million which will go partly to charity and mostly to well... Zheng Yi of cos.

yesterday : met up wif some good old frens. holland v. has a gelato place with 72 flavours! hmm. but def. not as good as venezia lar. but cheaper i think. there are all kinds of flavors, abt 10+ choc flavors including " Tim Tam", " Rocher " , " Tolberone "
and weird fruit flavors like " Lychee " , " Durian".
today: had a man2man talk with mi dad this morning. found out quite a bit of how he got his present job, with involves major job-hopping for a few years (7 jobs), then unemployment , a disatisfactory posting to Xiamen, China for 2 years, then alot of politics and now a place where he can settle down.
hmm. realised that all e luxury i'm soaking in now can't realli be taken for granted and also feeling deep gratitude towards mi dad. think we should start appreciating e usually stern, boring, silent breadwinner man of e house more, shouldn't we? :)

Since it's impossible that i keep putting up pics on mi blog without removing any of them ( only have 2MB of free webspace )
so every month i'll clear off MOST of e pics on mi blog.
not like many of u will refer back to old blogs but jus in case some new visitor comes by some day, I put up all these photos on mi yahoophotos site ( Links provided )
And i think i'm letting e blog go public soon. as in not only people who i tell personally.
so there'll be a significant decrease in 'personal' stuff.

If I was not zheng yi and didn't know zheng yi, and i chanced upon his friendster acct,
reading his testimonials, I gather that :
(muying)
He's a 'great fren' . well, that's not realli helpful cos i guess anyone who would write his testimonial HAS to be at least a person who THINKS he is a great fren. and a little 'baby' , hmm, this girl muying mus be weird. i doubt he's a baby realli. dun understand. she advises us to 'run over to be his fren'. RUN OVER ? she must realli think he's a good fren. but well, generally not a veri helpful testimonial. skip.
he's 'crappy and funny'. hmm.
Impression : A jester that's a good fren. might be a ' baby ' . i dunno how.
(zhengqi):
this Zheng Yi's fren prob doesn't know him too well. not a veri homogeneous description.
corny + optimistic + hilarious jokes + funny + artistic + smart + talented + nice fren
hmm.
Impression now : A jester that's quite a good fren. shouldn't be a baby. probably has a little bit of talent in e arts. probably doodles? He's probably quite irritating cos he's 'corny'.

he's def. cheena. " hong lou meng" ? man. i prob can't even survive a paragraph of that stuff. "interesting and outgoing" , " fun and laughter " , probably e class clown kinda person. prob a good person to bring along for gatherings that might turn out awkward. finally. some clue abt his artistic talent. he draws. yay.
Impression now : A chubby corny but sometimes funny class clown who is cheena and draws. A good fren. i think he's prob not pervert lar. sounds much less irritating now.

interesting. i think i finally meet a more 'english' fren of this guy. 'closet hard core thinker', this ger introduces a more 3dimensional feel to this guy :he THINKS. good.
she finds him REALLY funny. either she's a corny person or he's a funny person.
Impression now : A cheena, chubby, maybe funny class clown that draws and thinks. not a pervert. hopefully.

Impression now : A REALLY Cheena, chubby, maybe funny class clown that draws, thinks and has some attitude. Maybe he doesn't make frens as easily as i thought.
I seriously think he isn't Christian so either he likes Ho Yao Shan (i can stop trying to know him at dat pt ) or he jus jokes abt her. I'll take e latter .

This guy realli thinks zhengyi is a nice person.
"Caring" , "bubbly", "wacky", "accomodating", "interesting".
but it's prob a biased description since he knew zhengyi for a 'very long time liao'.
and "song ic" that "sings well". well well.
Impression now : A chubby cheena fun character that can be corny at times who probably is a loyal fren and has a kind nature beneath all e crap. He draws and probably can sing pretty well.
(willy):
another hanyu pinyin fren. this guy has too many cheena frens. "slimmed down alot"
hmm. maybe he isn't chub now. "reliable and responsible". a "council" person.
Impression now : A big sized person cheena fun character that usually isn't corny, loyal fren, good worker and prob kind beneath all e crap. Draws and sings well. Probably quite popular among e masses , since he's a 'councillor'.

this ger AGAIN. nth helpful besides commenting on his voice again.
Impression now : same as above but well, except that he prob sings "VERY" well.

guys, PLEASE start writing good testimonials? i mean, even I'M not interested myself now! who'll wanna know me then? haha.
jus joking lar. i'm jus trying to prove 3 things:
1) How ppl formulate impressions of strangers when they read text descriptions.
and trust me, when i read random testimonials, i get e impression that alot of ppl are "fun, funny and good frens".
2) How inefficient and inaccurate text descriptions are at reflecting e true character of a person. it's quite impossible. EVERYONE sounds like each other.
3) How ppl view u and how u view urself is usually VERY different. I'm not saying that u ppl dun know me but well, i guess, everyone's multi-faced. And i realise if u start popping ppl with some descriptions of urself, they're usually in disbelief.
" I din know u were like dat " or " That's totally so not like you! "

haha. e new pic on mi blog is symbolic, from a guy crying in e rain, to a guy saying "watch me shine".
that's my new line. shows mi positive new attitude towards life. i'm gonna SHINE. or try to shine. haha.
be happy for me! and it's 'watch me', veri attention-seeking indeed!
and its not supposed to haf anithing to do w S.H.E.'s song. (superficial asses. =P)
did the guy in 30 mins or so. quite slipshod.
i'm inspired to draw again cos a fren called me "artist". an "ARTIST"... MAN. v. flattering but i'm not there yet lar. but trying hard.
