So much for busking.
Rained. Organisers say " Cancellation of performances due to wet floor."
I quote JJ and JB:
"Wah lel, their cables no insulation right? " hahahah. stupid frens i have.
So well, all that anticipation for nothing.
Can't expect much from kids organising something too big like that. But a few things were still TOO screwed up, like :
1) asking me what accompaniment to provide at 2am on e actual day when we had an agreement already AND saying they're not able to provide
2) not contacting the buskers until they contact you ,at 3:05 pm when their slot's at 3.
But oh well.
But really apologetic to junjie,jiabin,chris,huili,yingzheng,aaron and paul's parents for coming all the way down for nth. That i regret most more than anything.
And it would have been fun to perform although it would have been quite scary. :|
But at least i know i have e greatest buncha friends who came specially to support. *ooh getting all fuzzy inside*
A BIG SORRY to jolene who left her charity work early to come down ALONE to support at 3:30. Gosh. Really glad jiabin n jj were around to entertain her in town o/w i'll feel freaking bad.
The last time i'm gonna busk for half-fuck organisations.
AND THE BIGGEST CONSOLATION OF ALL...*drum roll*
I GOT TO FETCH MEILING AT THE AIRPORT. weeeeeee! *somersaults in e air (not very possible but still)
haha, and tho this might sound anal, being able to fetch meiling at e airport somehow jus makes all the things dat pissed me off yesterday trivial :
ZY: (sorely) My busking got cancelled la, stupid organisers.
ML: (matter-of-factly) Good what. Then u can come pick me up.
ZY: ...... (but secretly agrees with her)
So i flew a cab down with grumpy huili (who insists she has no friends) and christine. I need less grumpy friends.
And oh i miss meiling! *haha MUI LENG!*
And she got a BOX of godiva chocs for e 4 of us (plus lihui)
I ate SIX. *does some mental calculation* That's 4 x 6 = 24 dollars worth of CHOCS. gosh. And they are ummmmmphhhhhh good. All hail Godiva.
And we had a pretty good talk. Oh i love talking to meiling. She hasn't changed much. A bit skinnier i feel. But *rolls eyes* oh so GORGEOUS. hahhaha.

Oh and yesterday was a real clusterfark (new term!) in the social department.
Was intending to meet jj and jb be4 busking. din. (growl)
met paul be4 busking.
jj and jb arrives.
Ying zheng comes ard.
chris arrives.
huili arrives.
Went to airport with Chris n Huili to pick ML.
Aaron meets paul to walk round town.
jj and jb continue their ORCHARD TRAIL. (hehe)
Went back with huili to meet junjie and jiabin.
Bumps into zzy on the bus w huili.
Aaron and paul joins us for dinner.
Meets zzy who was meeting zqi for dinner at PS too.
Met vin for a while before dinner.
Went out with jj after dinner.
I realised i've been having too much clique-mingling these days. Not that i mind but its quite taxing on me cos i've got to be the middleman la. But i'm glad jb,jj n huili n chris are hitting off pretty okay! *Plan of getting ppl to babysit jj when i'm gone might work out. sniggers*
Jus feel like doing some personal notes today (cos i'm all warm n fuzzy n sleepy):
