Decided to pop by NUS again to visit my humble relations and as well as give (hopefully we did) lihui the surprise she said she never gets. Well i assumed she wouldn't be expecting my distinguished presence AGAIN the very next day so its sorta like a surprise isn't it? As for my humble relations, i'm referring to my 'Pauper Friends' Huili and Christine. Gee. Why do i have friends that have 50cent vegetarian beehoon for lunch? Or rubber-tube-like otahs? I'm too kind: mingling with the lower class. In *snorts* stuffy squalid NUS Science Canteen. haha. okay okay, before i am FURTHER condemned by my readers, i must explain this class prejudice thingy is a joke between christine and i after i sms-ed a "Mama mia is not some poor man's play ya know? " in reply to her "I'll never forgive u for not inviting me to watch mamamia with u". Well after the sad excuse for lunch they had (but they're seriously broke AGAIN! huili couldn't even afford 30cent watermelon slices, boon pls start some save-the-pauper med funds for them!) , we proceeded to get lihui's balloon, the intended surprise gift and WOAH, we chanced upon this very appropriate Dolphin balloon which we thought would match lihui's diver status very well. (and since she'll have to 'walk' the dolphin all the way to China Black for her Diver's night. heehee) And i sort of hid behind a pillar while huili got lihui to walk her down some place. Christine was waiting, the first surprise with a slice of mango cake complete with a lit candle. And while e 3 of them were OOh-ing and Aah-ing, i threw the dolphin out from behind the pillar and with a little weight attached to it (a small furry heart dat says 'happy birthday'), the balloon was lifted by the wind (which fortunately blew towards the girls) and bobbed to her. Think i heard her squeal. Yay! Then cos the peasant girls had to return to their 'farming' (mugging), i walked and bus-ed lihui to Arts Fac Bazaar area (watever u call dat place). The dolphin is a real busybody. poked its nose EVERYWHERE and got us alot of uninvited attention. Lihui tried to tame it but cos it didn't get a share of mango cake, it was very unhappy. Bad dolph. So we decided to get far away and sit at this bench place in this park near the bazaar. Quite nice to jus sit around n stone a bit. Then she walked me to the busstop and i came home. Birthdays are fun! IF PEOPLE REMEMBER THEM OF COURSE. :) mamamia here we go again my my how can i resist u. HERE I COME. Foo better not call me during the play. He says he'll tell me my driving timings later. I got a feeling dats gonna happen. Our 8-characters aren't compatible or something. Gorgeous I-weekly covers this time round.
