I worship you, St. Splurgy.
Well, so much for getting over guilt pangs after my impulsive buy (:P LcT) yesterday, while e wound in my heart and pocket was still fresh, i spent another $38. Well it's a long story. Ha. Here goes:
jiabin, chris and i had a stuffing good lunch at Ricetable! Well for $15 we got quite a deal, 10 refillable dishes : Keropok (A), Satay (A+, e peanut sauce was heavenly but a bit too sweet so chris n i scraped it off on jb's satay), Grilled Chicken (A-), Achar (i liked it, so B+), Vege stew (B), Beef Stew (C-.. eeps) , Curry Chicken (B-), Spicy Prawns (A+! great sauce) , Otah (C,bland), Chicken Soup (B+, nice n special with Ba Cuo Mee's Ba Cuo in it. hahha :P winks at chris), fried fish (A, with thai sweet chilli. yum.),tahu telor (A+),salty n sour fruit salad (C+) and the WHOPPING GOOD EGGPLANT. Wah. it was e best. Serious. Even got special recommendation by some Makansutra equivalent award thingy. hahahahah. *sly grin* okay okay. e truth : it was terrible. super bland but yes, it did rcv some award. i have NO IDEA Y.

Well, first time i'm trying this combi out so it was pretty fun. Haha. Christine was laughing quite hard so i suppose she din mind lousy jb who kept insulting her. Rude fart. :) But yah la, u know i can't resist bullying chris when i get a chance. So the both of us were shifting all e more popular dishes to our side (jb and i were on e same table) while e kang kong (oh ya! i forgot bout e kk, er...u can guess how it tasted) and eggplant kept appearing in frt of chris. And we were making stupid jokes at how we couldn't eat e Eggplant cos there are eggs in it(-_-), laughing at e stupid 8-8-8-8-la leng chang xiao hua, where we could hide our excess food and a whole lot of stupid things. hehe. Anyway, yah,it's quite pleasant , too bad lili couldn't join in ( i can't believe boon is trying to matchmake e 2 of us. dat's SO random. i suspect he has a secret liking for her, so he's using underhanded primary school means to get close to her. tsk tsk. BOON. Outdated le la! :P ) We could do this again. heh.
Anyway, we were SO stuffed. we decided we had to walk around. NOT REALISING we had a bomb on our hands. CHRISTINE. She started throwing herself at all e possible stores, from Sins Choc, to Cold storage, to watch and jewellery shops, so she could start 'signing' her new Mastercard for her FIRST TIME. my country bumpkin friends.*shakes head* hehe anyway, we found ourselves in the bossini outlet at Centrepoint. And there there....*fights the tears, bites lower lip* IT happened. (turns away) haha.super drama. EEEHA! Anyway, chris decided she'll get either a Capri or a Clam Ripper (wait..Digger) . I sound like some fashion guru. Hehe. It's e first time hearing this 2 terms but i think it jus means berms-4-gers in e guy sense. Enlighten me.
Then jiabin and i pranced off to the men's section to look around and spotted JEANS on offer! $29 per pair! Rocking. So jb said he'll try one which color he liked. well, i was jus casually looking around, uninterested, untempted. BUT NEVER. NEVER LEAVE ME ALONE TO WAIT FOR YOU TO COME OUT FROM FITTING ROOMS!
It's... dangerous. So well, the both of them went to try on their picks, and i was left there, squeezed into Chris' denim jacket (haha. i like to wear it) with 2 bags under my care. Then my eyes went all over the jeans and then i thought : hmm i dun have a pair of fitting jeans. I really dun! my fav pair is this too short, too loose pair. Cos it's e only one dat can make it among all e "Dad picks" (dad picks are baaaad. looks like the Bangla type. very yux blue) or "Outgrew-it"s. But i decided NAH. I jus spent $30 yesterday. So ladada, waited. Boon came out and the jeans looked good! (not cos of him, heh) So i thought i should jus TRY it. "jus TRY it" - who's kidding who. Tried one. Tried another size. Tried another colour. Tried a t-shirt to see if it went along with it anddddd VOILA! I got BOTH JEANS and TEE. Yay for me!
But it's quite a steal isn't it! JEANS lei. and a nice tee. Heh. On offer mah. "2 Tees for $20" mah. boon got e other one and he got a pair of jeans too. And chris got a Capri and er... some other stuff la (:D) And we spent $120 in total so we even got a BOSSINI PRIVILEGE CARD! It's ridiculous! haha. And jiabin got it. (slit-eyed look) Why on earth him? But aiyah, he so ah soh so we let him get it. (snorts, w chris) Anyway, yah, we're now the Bossini Gang cos we told boon to call us everytime he was gonna do Bossini-Buying. Hahaha. Quite fun. Den we went fm floor to floor. No other buys fortunately tho chris had her eyes all over shoes and earrings. Now i know y she spends so much. Not only do i know WHY, I was INFLUENCED. Ashamed of miself!
Met meiling after that for a really (literally) uneventful outing! haha we jus sat at some restchairs at taka but aiyah, dat's ml style. But we talked quite a bit till she met w Louie! (ooooh who's dat u ask?? it's her french husband. haha. it's jus louis tan la. i jus like saying Louie.)
BY THE WAY.i think meiling is gorgeous! (am i allowed to say that? *turns around and looks at his manager, some hushed whispers, turns back to e camera*) yeah! i think she is! *big grin* hey niang niang! hello! *waving frantically* haha. lala. but it's jus mi opinion. And lauren's. Lau told me dat quite some time ago and i was giving e crooked brow but now... YEA. hhaa. NIANG NIANG, i bet u're beetrooting now. :P I'm so kou3 wu2 zhe1 lan2.

SG IDOL WILDCARD ROUND:
Okay. Jus heard e results. VERY surprised. But nth is worse than e JerryOng incident.
So Sly got in. (they have S-L-Y posters. why?! i thot it was some wrong positioning but NO. they intended it to be SLY) Hmm. I think he is quite a clever chap and quite cute too. Cos he won his votes over with a winning smile which he perpetuated throughout his performance. Haha. It's really such a change! His smile did wonders! His entire feel went from dark-ahbeng-rocker-wanna-be to a-bit-F4-a-bit-rocker sg idol-maybe. heh. I was pretty won over (bad eng i know) by his smile and his eyes (they TWINKLED. so un-rocker right?! hahha) but his diction is a big prob, quite chinese ah beng. (yeah i agree nyo nyo.) nice voice tho. He should consider a change of style (no more bon jovi) to sth slightly clearer.I'd like to see dat happen.

Okay. MAIA was good. I think she really has power in her voice. But i dun like such voices la. COs i heard her do "Remember me this way" and it was jus urg. So i dun think she can do slow songs. but see her move man. With moves like dat and such a sweet face, (heard she clubs alot), no wunder she got pregnant at 19. I say dat without ANY discrimination. Single dads and moms: u rock.
I was quite disgusted w Gurmit! When talking to Maia, he was simultaneously having a really "DEEP" conversation with her cleavage. And ALL e eyecontact was going DOWN if u know wat i mean. In front of e camera too! Yeah, i know she's short but hello, it was right at my face, no not her boobs but his unprofessionalism. And i thot he could be Mr. Nice Guy. Eeps.
BEVERLY. U rock idol world. (dis is such a typical singaporea idol, shown on tv sms grammar) I think she did her act with such star quality! It was a totally different feeling from Maia's? Cos she looked like a 100% Performer and not like jus a wild girl having her fun onstage. She's really Artiste material. Maybe not idol cos i realised she isn't popular. TWICE. with TOPS PERFORMANCE among all e contestants and she din get in! It's a real wonder. But i'm glad e judges are pushing for it altho it seemed more of a gimmick. Cos THEY know she wun go any further than top 12 when it's gonna be 100% sg's votes. Cos sg viewers are biased and deaf. >.< HELLO. SHI2 LI4 can? Stop voting in weirdos can? Taufiz and Jerry Ong. JOKERS. Wah her fast number matched up to "angel" from e last round, damned good. And she is jus great onstage. I'm rooting for her , against all odds.

Andy Joshua loosing his flamboyance, wat's beneath is quite appealing. IDOL material. 100%. Plus he's quite e performer. I think he's quite good looking too. He looks like Robin Leong.
Shirin Shirin. All u have is power. Her voice is jus pure power. No attitude. Jus power. There were so many times i was cringing cos i thought her voice would crack but she jus went on and on and on. Like some reservoir of ... POWER.
Benjamin Eio , he has attitude for wanting to prove e judges wrong. but sadly no brains. who in e right mind will do something like THIS LOVE? it's such a live and BAND performance. standing there and singing. god wat a sad fool. I had to look away.
