Saturday, September 25, 2004 0 comments Post a Comment Back. Well i was trying to starve myself to death yesterday. Only managed 14 hours before i decided to stop being stupid. Okay, maybe not so much on the 'stupid' part, maybe i was so hungry i decided that "I'm being stupid" was the reason why i should break my fast. At least it didn't make me seem like i wasn't determined enough. Anyhow, I got a bite. A few bites. That got the lightheadedness and sore stomach symptoms away. But i felt weak so i jus went to sleep. I can only tell u i was starving as a result of a depression + overeating the previous day + hong lou meng inspiration. Its funny how the depression allies with silly shallow grievances like 'i'm feeling fat' and make me come up with the dumbest resolutions. But I think its one of the better methods of curbing my depression. As compared to serious suicide and smoking. Cos i'm so energy-sapped i can't even feel anything. It numbs my brain. AND even if i give up after like 10 hours, at least i lose some weight. HAH. I'm playing my depression . (Points at it in GTO fashion. "I'll get u one day. " Now it even has its advantages. One day i might even enjoy it. :P ~ Oh i think i forgot to mention something significant that happened on e MAF day. Meiling and Junjie met up for their first time! Haha. Its something i'm very glad about : the two of them hitting off pretty well. They came over my place for squash but we ended up playing ping pong cos the squash courts were locked up. Well junjie was really unreserved and meiling was being meiling making an effort to warm things up. The first thing meiling said when she came in to my place and junjie and i were sprawled over the living room sofa : She glanced at junjie and said, " Ta de pi zi hen jian. " ( His nose is very sharp ) ?! haha. quite ridiculous right. So meiling. Then the two of them took prob like 10 min before they started making all kinds of comments about the artistes on the taiwan variety show on TV. Well, i dun need to elaborate on the details. But i could leave them alone with one another most of the time and they would be talking. haha. I'm really really glad. Cos i've mentioned so much about the other with each of them. And altho they have met prob twice , it was more of a hi-bye kinda meeting. And the two of them being my closest friends, it really rocks to have them know one another. Whether or not they will meet for any more times in the future. (Meiling says we could make it an annual event! hahha) Junjie thinks Meiling isn't as fierce as he thought she was and thinks she's nice while Meiling thinks Junjie is really stupid. Haha. In the "Zhengyi u're really stupid" way. So i guess i can call it positive feedback. :P And junjie got to see huili and christine too. He thinks they are positively nice people and now thinks all my friends are nice people. YAY. He calls Huili Huiyi and Lihui Yihui for some stupid reason ( Him being himself maybe? ) And he sms-ed me, " Hey aloe vera is quite pretty ". Who's aloe vera u ask? Aloe Vera as in Christina Aloe Vera (Aguilera)(VERY junjie). Christina as in Christine. Haha. Now everyone knows how silly he is. And we're going to jay's concert together. so well, i guess its a good start. PIC OF THE MONTH And yes, huili's a dumdum. When ml, jj and i got up e bus which she was on (we planneed to meet this way for MAF) , i asked Junjie to pretend he was called Bing Hui and he was my Paternal side Younger cousin ----> so he'll be ZHENG BING HUI? (meiling was laughing so much at the idea). So we introduced him to huili as Zheng Bing Hui and she's so cute ! She jus nodded and smiled alot to him. And she couldn't even get e Zheng Ping Hui joke. hahaha. Even when i asked her , " Do u watch the show he (points at jj) is starred in with Cynthia (as in Koh) ? " She looked absolutely clueless. hahaha. stupid HUILI. ~ Meiling's leaving tomorrow. Counter hits 3. Last one's adele. next sunday. Meiling's stupid. I met her on thursday. She refused to make conversation and kept talking about her own stuff. Like what local food she hasn't eaten yet, what books she should read on the plane, trying to make me go home after meeting like for an hour (cos she claims i was late --> hello i came fm camp direct). Its so troublesome to talk to queens. And i have another recount: We were happily sitting in Taka foodcourt (think its e 3rd time consecutively or sth) . She was having her popiah and i was talking to her bout some random stuff. And all of a sudden she interrupts. ML : (after her first bite)(looking violated) This is so dry! Yi : (interrupted) Er..okayyyyy (in my highpitched voice meant to irritate) mei ling... ML : Really! (disgusted, wrinkling her nose) Terrible its so dry! Yi : U want me to go get the sauce or sth? ML : WAT? NO la. How do i eat it then! Yi : Er okay.. ML : (tries to eat again) Yi gets on with wat he was saying. bla bla bla. ML : (interrupts)(puts her chopsticks down) IT'S TOO DRY. Yi : (peeved and laughing) DEN I'LL GO GET MORE SAUCE. ML : NO! Yi : OKAY DEN DUN EAT. ( ML tries to eat again. I TRY to resume the one way conversation. *chuckles*) ML : (decidedly stating) This is grass. Yi : (laughs to himself) OKAY... I'm going to get more sauce. (abt to get up) ML : No. I'm bring it back for my mom. (HAHAHHA BU2 XIAO4 NU3 ! ) Yi : WAT. U Bu xiao nu! ML : (taking the rubberband and looking terribly grudging) Yi : I'll go get more sauce for ur mom la. ML : No need. Yi : This is SO going into mi blog. ML : U better dun say i'm giving to my mom arh! (guiltily) SAy i'm jus taking it home. (Yi sticks out his tongue) Haha. i adore her. ~ For the first time i realised dat i can eat alot when i'm depressed. But it doesn't make me happier so its a lose-lose situation. I had a plate of mixed vege for dinner at taka square with ml. Den i got Tub tim grob for dessert. Then i got Mango Glutinuous Rice. Then i got one scoop of Venezia Yogurt Gelato. Then i got a small mooncake when i got home. 50 g fat 30 g saturated and 1000 calories for prob 2% overall pleasure increment! Luckily i ran 9km e day before. Riddickulous. All my friends are tasked with stopping me when i get more than 3 servings of ANY food (desserts inclusive). ~ Next month is the month of recluse. After adele leaves. Cos i'm having a very bad month in camp. Guard duties coupled with Ops duties. I'll prob not be going out at all. And threat of recall EVERY weekend. So wun be seeing any1 i guess. ~ I declare mooncake festival my favourite miscellaneous festival. I simply love mooncakes. Jus open e fridge n pop one in! It's DAT convenient. (Sings) Pop pop pop a lot. One when u get home. One after dinner. One during a commercial break. One before u leave home. And THREE in a tupperware to eat during teabreaks innnn CAMP! I'm gonna swell. I'm so cheena. I like jiao zi, mooncakes and tang yuans (all e cheapo doughy stuff) like i like foie grass, cheese fondue and tiramisu (all e expensive western stuff).
