Thursday, August 19, 2004 0 comments Post a Comment i think i have a campmate i find really funny. he says very weird stuff like during area cleaning today, my friend and i were both having problems putting our portable fans back together after dismantling them to clean them up and he said, " Wei shen me feng shan na me ben de. " (why are fans so silly.) isn't he funny! den later cos i kept finding dust under mi bed no matter how i swept then he went, " Wo xiao de shi hou, mei ci xiang : wei shen me hui you dust zhe ge dong xi. " (regrettably) ( when i was young, i always wondered why there was dust in the world. " and he's so unpretentious when he says such stuff ,like kaiyun, my jc classmate! rocks. ~ i was out with meiling on tuesday. We were at kinokuniya. I was happily walking towards the Chinese books section when she called out to me and gestured me over. I pranced over and then she said w a sweet smile : " Smell this . " I leaned forward a bit towards e cashier counter and took a few sniffs. And i smelt the lilies. Then i said , " Lilies ? " Then her smile on her face suddenly vanished, and there came this look of great disguest and bitterness, and she said viciously, " I HATE IT. " haha, she said it in the way like i was not allowed to forget it! Like a queen strolling in her little garden and sneering at some flowers, reminding her subject, " I hate this. Have it disappear. " i adore ML. haha. (cheer up niang niang) P.s. oh yah, we were walking ard taka food court when we spotted a stall dat might be selling the Pong Pia dat meiling wanted me to try. Cos there was only Lao Po Bing, i was asking her if she tried them be4, at e same time e saleslady was being realli sweet and asking us to try some , it's very nice bla bla. Then meiling was so SPOILT! she jus said to me (loud enuf fer saleslady to hear) " WO BU YAO. EE. I dun like it. " Then i laughed to miself, and said to the saleslady, " Haha. Niang niang bu xi huan (niang niang dun like), mei ban fa ( no choice ) " haha meiling was super embarrassed and walked away saying , " oh man. i dun know u. " and e saleslady was going, " Orh...niang niang bu yao.. " Hilarious. ~ after finding a single strand of white hair at my.. FRINGE, i actually had a nightmare. I dreamt that i had white hair sprouting out everywhere on my head and SOMEONE was busy plucking all of them out and i was going, " NO NO! Yi4 Gen1 Zhang3 San1 Gen1! (for one strand plucked , 3 more grow! ) " and i remember quite clearly THINKING to myself in my dream, " I knew all that depression and nonstop thinking would do this to me. I must stop thinking too much! for my hair! " Wah lel. i'm a vainpot in my subconscious. haha. ~ Singapore Idol is a bit boring today. not enuf singing. And dat cute little boy is out. haha he's realli funny. i find him HIGHLY entertaining. He's so full of life! that Khoo boy. Patrick or wat? can't remem (some1 enlighten me). Even mi bro likes him. I'm betting on dat nice mixed girl with curly big hair! And now i think e judges' fury is justified. Wah lel, e mixed category was serious CRAP. but i wouldn't have made it if i were there aniwae, i can't harmonise fer nuts. ~ Sussilo. MY singapore idol! I'm gonna get t-shirts with his name. Somehow we all feel a bit more for him cos he looks and talks singaporean. Much more than Jia wei ( they're attached?!?! warped. ) who's jus PRC. Was actually feeling a bit down (really.) when he lost. He looked really fed up with himself. Chin up Sussilo fans! And i hope e 2 ping pong gers get a medal! i wanna sing e anthem! go go go! ~ i'm sick. flu. normal flu w e achooO! nose and e complete drained-out feeling. wah it was so bad, i couldn't make my way up to mi office cos i needed to climb ONE flight of stairs (14 steps). I had to take a seat somewhere and rest before i could summon enuf strength to climb up. Bad. ~ Lau's leaving on sunday. :( Think i'm gonna feel quite empty when meiling, mian, adele and lau all go back. arg. but oh well, den i can start saving money again (no more gg out.) ~ e electric pulse foot massager seems to have helped mi knee recover a bit. i'm doing level 8 intensity now. max is 19. electric shock! here i come! oh made a pineapple light cheesecake yesterday. Brought half back camp. they loved it! yay. good. i'm starting to get a bit too confident. shld start on bread. Think e longer baking process will make me stop underestimating e difficulty of baking. HAH! Nian1 Hua1 Re2 Cao3's NIAN1 can't be pronounced as ZHAN1. my lousy shanghainese platoon sergeant. Must go tell him off : he keeps thinking his chinese jus kicks mi ass. PUI. Oh but i thought there was past tense for cost : "costed" *head lowers in shame* er... ya... meiling told me there isn't. arg.
