Bought my Sandman Vol. 9 : The Kindly Ones.
Absolutely , i mean absolutely, ingenious.
The best volume so far.
The brilliance of Neil Gaiman leaves me hating my commonplace creativity (if i can call it 'creativity' at all) and gently yet firmly reminds me that I have a long way before i should even consider storywriting. But it does not uninspire me : although I am aware that it would be a most dreary process when I look upon my own children and wonder why they didn't turn out even a tithe of his.
If writers were only recognised as dreamers, fabricators, liars and ramblers,
I wish to remain in the Dreaming forever.

My most worthy purchase for the week (besides the routine Sandman volumes):
A silver hardcover book of nice-smelling, clean, white empty pages.
Promising, hopeful and fresh.
Delicious.
