Tuesday, October 21, 2003 0 comments Post a Comment I actually 'had to' watch morning news for e past 2 days. cos i was stranded in tekong and i wake up early there(abt 4 to go mend some phones till 7 ) so i am made to watch news cos there isn't SCV. i know it's quite unhealthy for someone my age to not watch news. but well, i have this certain reluctance to find out more abt current affairs maybe cos they're too volatile. today's rape victim deserves today's share of sympathy. yesterday's terrorism victims isn't as exciting as today's terrorism victims. only a few names are constants. And they happen to be politicians or terrorists or fools. or two of three. or all three. hmm. but i'm fine with papers like Life! and Xian Zai, with all e literature and cool facts i never knew. and of course silly gossips that spice up my life. ok. back to morning news. well, i was watching it, yadda yadda APEC ( i'm glad now i finally know wat it stands for , ignoramus me ) , yadda yadda agenda, terrorism, yawn, yadda yadda commando's death ( my deepest sympathies, glad it's not hck or sz ) yadda yadda apologies Teo Chi Hsien yadda yadda. And e onli reason why i kept mi eyes locked to e screen is.... SUZANNE JUNG man. she's mi newest crush. it's not a sudden change in tastes : i go for e intellectual too ok! but Jing Jing ( Jeanette Aw ) is still my no.1 . she's smooth. and smart. and she speaks hell-well. she's quite elegant too. radiant. charming. and she's cute. remem this report on monday abt a silly baby chimpanzee wearing diapers, dunno wat was it's problem. but she was jus rattling off as newscasters always do, and then she ended and while they were showing e silly chimp, she went " Oh, diapers, so cute! ". while I went " Oh, Suzzane, so cute... " . I melted. And she's korean. way cool for her to spk such english. and timothy go sux. Cos he keeps having this arrogant but comical grin on his face.
